Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how MyNote Pro (package name com.mecaworkstudio.mynotepro), developed by Abdelhamid Bouhelal / MecaWork Studio, accesses and handles information.

MyNote Pro is designed as an on-device journal. The developer does not operate a server for journal content and does not receive, sell, rent, or share users’ notes, photos, videos, or voice recordings.

2. Information stored on your device

The app may store the following information locally on your device when you choose to create it:

• Journal titles, text, dates, tags, moods, favorites, and writing statistics.
• Photos, videos, audio files, and voice recordings attached to journal entries.
• App preferences such as language, theme, reminder time, and optional PIN lock settings.
• Backup files that you explicitly export.

This content is used only to provide the app’s journaling, calendar, search, backup, reminder, and local analysis features.

3. Permissions and device features

• Camera: used only when you choose to capture a photo or video for a journal entry.
• Microphone: used only when you start voice recording or voice dictation.
• Photos, videos, audio, and files: used only when you choose media to attach, import a backup, or export a backup.
• Notifications: used to display optional local journal reminders that you configure.
• Vibration: may be used for interface feedback or reminders.

Permissions are requested for the relevant feature and can be revoked through Android settings.

4. Voice dictation

Optional speech-to-text uses the speech-recognition service configured on your Android device. Depending on that provider and your device settings, spoken audio may be processed on the device or by the provider’s servers. MyNote Pro does not receive that audio or the resulting transcript on a developer-operated server. The provider’s own privacy policy may apply.

5. Data collection, sharing, advertising, and analytics

• No user account is required.
• The app does not include advertising.
• The app does not include developer-operated analytics or behavioral tracking.
• The developer does not collect or share journal content or attached media.
• The app does not sell personal information.

Google Play and the Android operating system may independently process technical information under their own terms when you install, purchase, update, or use platform services.

6. Data retention and deletion

Journal content remains on your device until you delete individual entries, use the in-app option to delete all notes, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app. Exported backup files remain wherever you choose to save them until you delete them yourself.

Because MyNote Pro does not create an online account and the developer does not possess your local journal data, the developer cannot remotely retrieve or delete it.

7. Security

MyNote Pro uses Android app storage and local browser storage to keep app content on the device. The optional PIN feature helps restrict access within the app, but it should not be treated as a substitute for device encryption, a strong screen lock, or secure backup practices.

8. Children

MyNote Pro is a general productivity and personal journaling application and is not specifically designed for children. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-operated service.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when app features or legal requirements change. The current version will remain available at this URL, with the revision date shown above.
